As well as looking at activity preferences, other important considerations are a dog’s friendliness and sociability. And of course how that fits into your life and preferences.

Does that mean some dog breeds aren’t friendly?

If your favourite dog breed doesn’t make the list, then don’t be discouraged. Not making the list doesn’t automatically mean a dog is unfriendly.

Since their domestication, it’s fair to consider dogs as friendly animals. However, some breeds can be considered a little more sociable than other breeds.
